The objective of this project was to design a poster advocating for a cause we hold dear. Opting for a playful twist, I chose to craft a poster inspired by the tongue-in-cheek conspiracy theory that gained traction in late 2020, known as "Birds Aren't Real."
The essence of the jest revolves around the notion that all birds have been surreptitiously replaced with government surveillance drones. The movement itself serves a dual purpose: to humorously satirize conspiracy theories while also shedding light on the potential risks they pose in our contemporary society.
My creative approach involved the development of a mock anatomical diagram showcasing the inner workings of a bird drone. Each component was labeled with witty descriptions, contributing to the overall conspiratorial ambiance. The art direction was curated to evoke a sense of intrigue, with handwritten notes scanned in using a flatbed scanner to enhance the authenticity of the poster.
